Import Employees


Employees Import Wizard enables the users to import data of employees from any .txt or .csv files. By importing you can both insert in the program new employees and update data of already existing employees. The Wizard consists of 3-4 steps. On each step you will read instructions what to do.

On the first step you should do the following:

  1. Choose import file by clicking on Browse button.
  2. Choose the delimiter type of file from the Delimiter combo box.
  3. Choose one or both of the actions: Add New Employees and Update Existing Employees.
  4. Choose the format of date used in import file from Date Format combo box.
  5. Click on the Next button. (If you won't proceed to the next step, then there are some inconsistencies in the import file. Correct all inconsistencies and try again.)

On the next step (if Add New Employees checkbox is selected) you should select the values of some fields (Headquarters, Division, Group, Status, Date, Working Time, Employment and Pay Policy) which should be applied to newly added employees. After selecting required values, click on the Next button.

On the next step you should select which fields from the import file you want to import and match those fields with the available system fields. After matching all fields click on the Next button to go to the next step and then on the Finish button to complete the import.

  Note:
Importing employees with the help of this Wizard is not enough for full configuration of employees. After importing employees, please make sure to enter the rest information, such as schedule, wage and benefits, etc.
