In AMG Attendance System it may happen that wrong transactions are being committed. Wrong transactions are being defined as the ones, when in the system there is no employee with the badge number of transaction, or when employee has entered wrong department code or wrong job code. In these cases transactions are not being displayed in Timecard, but they are being recorded. In Wrong transactions page are displayed all recorded wrong transactions and it is given a possibility to correct them by assigning wrong numbers to correct ones.
Wrong transactions page consists of the following three Tabs:
To assign wrong badge number to an employee you should do the following:
- In the Wrong Badges table select the wrong badge number, transactions of which you want to assign to any of existing badges. (Note that here you have a possibility to see some details of those transactions (date and time), select and assign individual transactions. For that you should enable Show Date and Time check box.)
- In the Employees table select the employee whom you want to assign the transaction(s) of the selected wrong badge number. Before selecting employee, you also have a possibility to filter the list of employees and find the ones you need. (Click here to see how to filter them.)
Filtering Employees
To filter the list of employees you should do the following:
- Click on the Filter button. (As a result will appear Filter Conditions panel).
- In the Filter Conditions panel enter or select the criteria by which you want to filter.
- Click on the Refresh button.
As a result of filtering in the Employees table will be displayed only those employees who correspond to the entered or selected criteria. If no employee corresponds to criteria, then no record will be displayed in the table. To view all the employees or to start over the filtering, you should click on the Reset button.
To hide the Filter Conditions panel, click again on the Filter button.

- If you don't remember the whole Code, Badge or Name of the employee, you can enter a single letter or number which can be either at the beginning or in the middle or in the end of the employee's Code, Badge or Name.
- You can simultaneously filter by more than one criteria.

- Click on the Assign button.
To delete wrong badge numbers you should do the following:
- In the Wrong Badges table select the wrong badge number you want to delete. ( Note that here you have a possibility to see some details of those transactions (date and time), select and delete individual transactions. For that you should enable Show Date and Time check box.)
- Click on the Remove button.
To assign wrong department code to the correct one you should do the following:
- In the Wrong Department Codes table select the wrong department code you want to assign to the one of the correct departments. (Note that here you have a possibility to see some details of those transactions (employee badge numbers and date/time, select and assign individual transactions. For viewing employees badges you should enable Show Badge check box and for viewing transaction dates and times you should enable Show Date and Time check box.)
- In the Departments table select the department to which you want to assign the transaction(s) of selected wrong department. Before selecting department, you also have a possibility to filter the list of departments and find the one you need. (Click here to see how to filter them.)
Filtering Departments
To filter the list of departments you should do the following:
- Click on the Filter button. (As a result will appear Filter Conditions panel).
- In the Filter Conditions panel enter or select the criteria by which you want to filter.
- Click on the Refresh button.
As a result of filtering in the Departments table will be displayed only those departments which correspond to the entered or selected criteria. If no department corresponds to criteria, then no record will be displayed in the table. To view all the departments or to start over the filtering, you should click on the Reset button.
To hide the Filter Conditions box, click again on the Filter button.

- In the Jobs table select the job to which you want to assign the transaction(s) of wrong job code. Before selecting job, you also have a possibility to filter the list of jobs and find the one you need. (Click here to see how to filter them.)
Filtering Jobs
To filter the list of jobs you should do the following:
- Click on the Filter button. (As a result will appear Filter Conditions panel).
- In the Filter Conditions panel enter or select the criteria by which you want to filter.
- Click on the Refresh button.
As a result of filtering in the Jobs table will be displayed only those jobs which correspond to the entered or selected criteria. If no job corresponds to criteria, then no record will be displayed in the table. To view all the jobs or to start over the filtering, you should click on the Reset button.

When fixing transactions it is highly recommended that you start from fixing wrong badges, and only then proceed to wrong departments and jobs. |
Here you can also generate report on wrong badges, departments and jobs. For that you should just click on the Report button, select the time period and click on the OK button.
