To add a new document type you should do the following:
- Click on the Add button.(As a result will be opened a new window - Add Document Type
- Enter the data into corresponding text boxes ( Code, Name).
- Click on the Ok button.
Note: |
Code and Name are unique and mandatory values. Before entering these values,make sure that there is no other document type with the same Code or Name. |
To edit document type you should do the following:
- In the Document Types table click on the document types you want to edit.
- Click on the Edit button. (As a result will be opened a new window - Edit Document Type.)
- Edit the date you want.
- Click on the Ok button.
To delete document type you should do the following:
- In the Document Types table click on the document type you want to delete.
- Click on the Delete button
Note: |
Those document types, which are assigned to at least one employee, can’t be deleted. |
To make document type active/inactive you should do the following:
- In the Document Types table click on the document types you want to make active/inactive.
- Click on the Edit button. (As a result will be opened a new window - Edit Document Type .)
- Select Active check box to make the document type active, or deselect - to make inactive.
- Click on the Ok button.

To see in the Document Types table also inactive document types, make sure that the Show inactives check box in Filter Conditions box is selected. |
