Within this simplified view of the Advanced Scheduling module, administrator can effortlessly modify work hours, lunch and breaks without creating shift groups. Simply drag or drop the shift to make quick adjustments. If that wasn’t convincing enough, the simplified scheduling feature can autosuggest qualifying employees for open shifts.

The daily view is just one capability included with the robust Advanced Workforce Scheduling module. AMGtime Updates Skilled Nursing Facility Module

 

Did you know last year Government Jerry Brown increased California’s Hours Per Patient Day (HPPD) ratio from 3.2 to 3.5?

Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout the country are required to submit Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) data to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Many Nursing Facilities also need to track and report on Hours Per Patient Day. The state of California has updated their law requiring Skilled Nursing facilities to increase their base HPPD ratio to 3.5 from 3.2. In addition, 2.4 of those hours must be completed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). State governments are increasingly requiring minimum HPPD ratios, with many states already implementing their own laws regarding this subject.

This is a great improvement to patient care but lengthens the process of calculating hours. To eliminate manual calculations, AMGtime provides the perfect solution for Skilled Nursing Facilities to automate the calculation of census and HPPD ratios to meet staffing requirements. The updated module also has the option of calculating CNA ratios. The Skilled Nursing Facility module includes several reports and an XML export with PBJ specifications.

AMGtime recently developed an add-on solution that will transform your standard Schlage HandPunch device into a smart device. Your HandPunch will transform into a wireless and real-time capable device, making workforce management much easier. Anyone can upgrade their device with just a small incremental fee.

This add-on will be a life-saver! Every transaction made by employees will be synchronized and displayed in real-time, allowing the option to view updated time cards as well as regular and overtime hours. Transactions will be collected even if internet connectivity is lost. Once reconnected to the internet, all saved transactions on the device will be transferred to the AMGtime software. None of your data will ever be lost again!

Adding this solution to your HandPunch is quick and easy. This update will connect your HandPunch device to any smartphone, tablet, or computer without the need for additional equipment. If you want to connect to the internet, you simply turn on your HandPunch and press WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) on your router then you are connected.

Another benefit of this feature is the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) support. This is ideal for companies (like Staffing Agencies) that need to lend devices to their clients. The Staffing Agency will be able to access the device through any Windows-based computer when connected to an Ethernet port. There is no need to bother clients for their IP address!
