Agricultural workers are constantly on the move and work at different sites with varying work environments, making it difficult to track time and attendance. AMGtime provides several solutions (in PC/Client server or Web-based) for collecting time and attendance data efficiently in vast and/or multiple locations.
AMGtime's GPS Tracking module, available on the mobile app, allows employers to track employees’ location during work hours. This process starts from the time an employee clocks in and stops when they clock out. All transactions are sent directly to the software, so management can view employee movements through specified time interval pings on an easy-to read Google map. Not only does this aid in tracking employees, but it also makes sure employees are staying within a specific area during working hours.
Geo-fencing provides a radius as defined by the employer where the employee can clock in and out. Used as an alternative or in conjunction with GPS tracking, geo-fencing ensures the employee is clocked in exactly in their designated area.
AMGtime also offers an additional layer of authentication for when employees punch in/out through the “punch selfie”. Managers can enforce a photo to be taken whilst clocking in/out. When the employee goes to transact, they will be required to take a photo before the transaction can be complete. The selfie feature eliminates buddy punching and ensures they are where they need to be.
The portable BS 922 fingerprint reader is ideal for the agricultural type environment. The device is enclosed in a rugged case, which is waterproof, dustproof and shockproof. The BS 922 has a handle and can physically be taken to any job site, without the need of plugging-in or connecting to a network. The time and attendance data can either be stored on a USB then exported into the software or be automatically transferred through WiFi.
