Hand Geometry Technology

With proven biometric technology for hand geometry, the HandPunch 1000 XL from Schlage captures and image of the hand each time an employee clocks-in or out. The hands shape and size is used to verify their identity with amazing accuracy. No palm or finger prints are utilized.  The technology works well in harsh environments as well as indoors.

Antimicrobial Protection

The Biometric HandPunch 1000 XL contains a silver-based anti-microbial agent-which is embedded into the materials used to produce the platen, providing a finish that prohibits the growth of a broad spectrum of bacteria, mold, and fungi and remains active for the life of the HandPunch 1000 XL.

Hand Outline

The HandPunch 1000 XL comes standard with a blue hand outline printed on the platen. This hand outline helps new users place their hand accurately on the platen thus decreasing initial enrollment time and better enrollment quality. It also includes the Ingersoll Rand Schlage Biometrics logo.

Break Compliance

The new line of biometric HandPunch readers that is now capable of complying with labor "Meal" laws that have been adopted by more than 20 states.  These labor laws are in place to regulate on-the-job meals and breaks for employees.
