Backup/Restore the Database

In order to create a backup or to restore to an existing backup, you must navigate to the tools tab above and click on the database icon

Creating a backup

1. Click on Database
2. Choose “Backup/Restore” option
3. We will only need the top half that says backup. Click on Browse and choose the destination you would like for the backup to appear.
4. Click “Start”
5. Upon completion, if you navigate to the path you saved the backup to, you will see a folder appear named “AMG Backup 2018-01-01 12.59.00” with the date and time it was created appearing in the file name.

Restoring to an existing backup

1. Click on Database
2. Choose “Backup/Restore” option
3. We will only need the bottom half that says Restore. Click on Browse and navigate to the destination your backup is.
4. Click “Start”
5. Upon completion, the program will restart and your data will be restored to whatever data your backup holds.
