Connect to QuickBooks Online (Web)

To connect your AMG web account to QuickBooks Online go to Payroll - Payroll Integration. Choose QuickBooks Online from your list of Integrations.

 Click Next and then click the QB Connect button. This will open a new tab to have you sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.

You will then be prompted to connect QB to AMG:

You can click Connect and then AMG will refresh, showing the QuickBooks company file you are connected to.

 If you need to map Jobs/Departments from AMG to QuickBooks you can do that here, or you can click next. AMG will then begin to Sync different info to QuickBooks. If an item syncs successfully it will show a green check. If anything does not match it will display a warning or a red X.

If you click See Details you can correct issues and sync the different items.

NOTE: Synchronization is bidirectional for all items except for Company info, which is synchronized only from QuickBooks to AMGtime.

For example, for employees their full names must match exactly between QuickBooks and AMG. If there is anything you do not have in either software, you can import from/ export to QuickBooks. For instance I can export my employee to QuickBooks from AMG as shown here:

Once you have cleared up any of the errors on the sync page you are successfully ready to export timecard data to QuickBooks.
