Codes and Badges in AMG are used to identify and track employees for payroll and filtering purposes. 

 

  • Codes are used when adding an employee to connect to the employee's assigned Payroll number. 
  • Badges are for connecting to the employee's timeclock ID.
  • Numeric and Alphanumeric values are available for codes.
  • The maximum Code and Badge length is 10 characters.

Codes are also used to reference other sections in AMG such as divisions, groups, jobs, and more.These are used for filtering. Job and Department Codes sync to devices to allow employees to determine the job or department they are clocking into.
