First make sure your device is connected to your network or to your computer via serial cable. 

 

In the AMG Attendance System software:

1. At the top menu go to Devices > Configure Devices

2. Double click the device in the list if it is already added, or for new devices click the Add button at the bottom.

3. Give the device a name, select the appropriate Device Type, and the Communication Type. If the device is connected via Ethernet cable or Wifi choose Ethernet then enter the device's IP Address.

4. Click OK. If the software asks to sync changes with the device, click Yes.
