Add or Edit a Device (Web)

First make sure your device is connected to your network.

In AMG Web:

1. On the side menu go to Devices - Configure Devices

2. Click Edit next to the device in the list if it is already added, or for new devices click the Add button at the bottom right.

Device Setup Guide

When configuring your device, please fill out the following fields:

1. Code

   • Enter the unique Code you wish to associate with the device. This could be any identifier you prefer.

2. Name

   • Assign a Name to the device that helps you identify it easily (e.g., "Front Door Reader" or "Lobby Access Point").

3. Device Type

   • Select the Device Typebased on the model of your device.
     • If you're unsure about which model to choose, refer to the Hardware Section to identify the correct one.

4. Time Zone

   • Set the Time Zone to match the physical location of the device. This ensures that time-based actions (such as access control) are properly synchronized.

5. Communication

   • Set the Communication option to WEB. This ensures the device will communicate over the web for syncing and updates.

6. Serial Number

• The Serial Number can be found on the back of the device. Enter this number as it uniquely identifies your device
