Enroll an Administrator
Enrolling an administrator gives full access to the device’s settings and menu. Note: Once an administrator is enrolled, only administrators will be able to access the device menu.
Press and hold the M/OK button for a few seconds.
- If an administrator is already enrolled, the time clock will display “Admin Affirm” along with a padlock symbol.
Have the administrator place their finger on the sensor.
Select User Mng and press the M/OK button.
Enter the unique ID (e.g., ‘888’) for the administrator.
Enroll Administrator's Fingerprint
To enroll an administrator's fingerprint for access:
Select Enroll FP by pressing the down button, then press the M/OK button.
Choose the first finger you’d like to enroll. Place and remove the finger three times as prompted by the time clock.
After the first fingerprint is enrolled, press OK to continue with the second finger.
Note: You can enroll up to 5 fingers per administrator.
- To finish the enrollment process, press the ESC button once to return to the previous screen.
Administrator's PIN Code (Optional)
An additional security option is to assign a PIN code to the administrator.
Select Enroll PWD and press the M/OK button.
Enter the administrator's PIN code twice to confirm it.
Press OK on the screen, then press the M/OK button to save the PIN.
Enroll Administrator's Proximity Card/FOB (Optional)
To enroll a proximity card or FOB for the administrator:
Select Enroll Card and press the M/OK button.
Wave the proximity card or FOB in front of the device’s keypad.
Assign Security Level
To grant administrator access to the device:
Select Purview and use the right arrow button to change the level to Admin.
Press OK on the screen, then press the M/OK button to save the security setting.
Employee Enrollment Process
The process for enrolling an employee is the same as for enrolling an administrator, but note that regular employees will not have access to the time clock menu.
Step 1: Access the Enrollment Menu
- Press and hold the M/OK button for a few seconds. If an admin is already enrolled, the time clock will display Admin Affirm with a padlock symbol.
- Have the admin place their finger on the sensor to confirm.
- From the main menu, select User Mng and press the M/OK button.
Step 2: Enter Employee ID
- Enter the employee's unique ID (e.g., '888') and press OK.
Step 3: Enroll Employee’s Fingerprint
- Select Enroll FP by pressing the down button, then press the M/OK button.
- Choose the first finger you’d like to enroll. Follow the on-screen prompts to place and remove the finger three times.
- Once complete, press OKto proceed with enrolling a second finger.
- Note: You can enroll up to 5 fingers per employee.
- When finished, press the ESC button to exit and return to the previous screen.
Step 4: Employee PIN Code (Optional)
- Select Enroll PWD and press the M/OK button.
- Enter the employee’s PIN code, then re-enter it to confirm.
- Press OK to confirm the PIN and press M/OK to save.
Step 5: Enroll Employee's Proximity Card/FOB (Optional)
- Select Enroll Card and press the M/OK button.
- Wave the proximity card/FOB in front of the device keypad until it is recognized.
Step 6: Security Level Assignment
- Ensure that the Purview Level is set to User for regular employees.
- Press OK to save the settings and complete the enrollment process.
Configure Ethernet Communication
Step 1: Access Admin Menu
- Press and hold the M/OK button for a few seconds. If prompted, the time clock will display Admin Affirm.
- The admin will need to use their credentials to access the menu.
Step 2: Navigate to Network Settings
- From the main menu, select Comm and press the M/OK button.
- Next, select Network and press the M/OK button.
Step 3: Enable DHCP
- Locate the DHCP option in the settings and toggle it ON.
Step 4: Note the IP Address
- Once DHCP is enabled, the device will automatically populate an IP Address. Take note of this IP address for future reference.
Step 5: Save Settings
- Select OK on the screen to confirm your changes.
- Press the M/OK button to save and exit.
Then you will
add the device with the IP address into the desktop software.
Configure Wifi Communication
Step 1: Access Admin Menu
- Press and hold the M/OK button for a few seconds. If prompted, the time clock will display Admin Affirm.
- The admin will need to use their credentials to access the menu.
Step 2: Navigate to Wireless Settings
- From the main menu, select Comm and press the M/OK button.
- Next, select Wireless connection and press the M/OK button.
Step 3: Connect to the Wireless Network.
- Select the wireless network you wish to connect with and press the M/OK button.
- Input the password and press the M/OK button
Step 4: Note the IP Address
- The device will automatically populate an IP Address. Take note of this IP address for future reference.
Step 5: Save Settings
- Select OK on the screen to confirm your changes.
- Press the M/OK button to save and exit.
Then you will
add the device with the IP address into the desktop software.
