AMG 100- C / AMG I60-C QUICK GUIDE


Before starting configuring your AMG 100-C and AMG i60C terminal, please be sure you have completed the steps below:

 

1. Installed AMG software.

2. Completed the AMG software Configuration Wizard.

 

Once the above has been completed, you may begin installing the device.

 AMG-100C Button Layout

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Navigation and Control

      : Enter or Menu button.

        : Cancel or Back button.

     : Navigate up and down.

        : Navigate left and Navigate right.

            : Power button switch when pressing and hold button. 





I. Enroll an Administrator

Enrolling an administrator means you enrolled as a user with full access to the terminal.

Once a terminal administrator has been enrolled, time clock menu access will be restricted to only administrator level user.

NOTE: AMG I60-C terminal => Only refer to steps 1, 2, 3 and 7, 8, 9, 10.

 

Access Administrator Menu

1. Press and hold 'M'/'Ok' button for few seconds, administration menu will be open.

2. Select 'User Mng' then press 'OK' Select 'new users' then press 'OK' button.

3. Specify your desired Admin ID example '123 '.

 

Enroll Admin's Fingerprint (AMG 100-C only)

4. Select 'enroll FP' by pressing down button then press 'Ok' button.

5. Place the first finger you like to use and place it three times as prompted by time clock.

6. Press Ok when you are ready to continue with the second finger.

NOTE: You may enroll up to 5 fingers per admin or employee or Press 'esc' button to finish fingerprint enrollment and returned to previous screen.

 

Enroll Admin's PIN Code (optional)

7. Select 'Enroll PWD' press 'OK' button then specify PIN number twice then select OK then press OK button.

 

Enroll Admin's Proximity Card / FOB (Optional)

8. Select 'Enroll Card' press 'Ok' button then wave proximity card / FOB in-front keypad.

Security level Assignment

9. Select 'Purview' then use right or left button to change security level to 'Admin'
10. Select 'OK' then press 'Ok' button to save your administrator enrollment.

 

II. Configure Ethernet Communication

Based on the type of software license of subscription please configure your time clock accordingly.

If you are not sure which AMG system you have, please call us at 323 254 7448.

 

Note:

If your software comes in a USB flash drive and requires installation then you have AMG Server Client Version.

If you need to login to www.amgwebtime.com to access your attendance app, then you have AMG Cloud Solution.

 

 

PC Based

A. AMG Client-Server Software (PC-based)

 

1. Press and hold 'M'/'Ok' button for few seconds, Time clock will display ' Admin affirm' along with padlock picture.

2. Immediately place your finger on sensor.

3. Once your fingerprint is verified as administrator, administration menu will be open.

4. Select 'Comm' Press 'OK' Button.

5. Select 'Network' Press 'OK' Button.

6. Specify IP address, Subnet mask and Gateway.*

*Please consult with your IT department for these information.

7. Select 'DHCP' and use the left button to set it 'Off'.

8. Select 'OK' then press Ok button.

9. Press 'Esc' Several times to returned to Main Screen.

10. Reboot your Time Clock by pressing and hold the power button (button under #7 button).

 

B. AMG Software Configuration (PC based)

1. Logon to AMG Software with administrator login info.

2. Go to devices=> configure Devices.

3. Press ADD.

4. Enter device name=> and select device type.

5. Go to Communication type=> select Ethernet.

6. Enter IP address for device.

7. Press OK=> and sync device with software press OK.

 

Web Based

 

A. AMG Web Subscription (Web-based)

 

1. Press and hold 'M'/'Ok' button for few seconds, Time clock will display ' Admin affirm' along with padlock picture.

2. Immediately place your finger on sensor.

3. Once your fingerprint is verified as administrator, administration menu will be open.

4. Select 'Comm' Press 'OK' Button.

5. Select 'Network' Press 'OK' Button.

6. Select 'DHCP' and use the left button to set it 'ON'.  Select Ok then press 'Ok

7. Select 'Web Setup', Set as 'URL Mode', specify url: www.amgwebclock.com | specify port number :80

8. Select 'OK' then press Ok button.

9. Press 'Esc' Several times to returned to Main Screen.

10. Reboot your Time Clock by pressing and hold the power button (button under #7 button).

 

B. AMG Software configuration(Web Based)

1. Logon to AMG Software with administrator login info.

2. Go to devices=> configure Devices.

3. Press ADD.

4. Enter device name=> and select device type.

5. Go to Communication type=> select Web.

6. Enter Serial number of back of device or from box of the device.

7. Press okay to save device configuration.

 



III. Enroll Employee

 

!!!Attention!!! Please be sure, you already added your employee profile in the software before you begin enrolling employee on time clock.

 

Process enrolling employee is exactly the same as enrolling administrator, however regular employee will not have full access to time clock menu.

 

Note: AMG I60-C terminal => only refer to steps 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 9, 10, 11, 12.

 

1. Press and hold 'M'/'Ok' button for few seconds, Time clock will display ' Admin affirm' along with padlock picture.

2. Immediately place your finger on sensor.

3. Once your fingerprint is verified as administrator, administration menu will be open.

4. Select 'new users' then press 'OK' button.

5. Specify Employee ID example '888 '.

Enroll Employee's Fingerprint (AMG 100-C only)

6. Select 'enroll FP' by pressing down button then press 'Ok' button.

7. Place the first finger you like to use and place it three times as prompted by time clock.

8. Press Ok when you are ready to continue with the second finger.

NOTE: You may enroll up to 5 fingers per employee or Press 'esc' button to finish fingerprint enrollment and returned to previous screen.

Enroll Employee's PIN Code (optional)

9. Select 'Enroll PWD' press 'OK' button then specify PIN number twice then select OK then press OK button.

Enroll Employee's Proximity Card / FOB  (Optional)

10. Select 'Enroll Card' press 'Ok' button then wave proximity card / FOB in-front keypad.

11. Make sure 'Purview' level is set to ‘User’

12. Select 'OK' then press 'Ok' button to save your employee enrollment.
